The Boys' Season 5, Episode 4 is almost here, and the anticipation is palpable. This episode promises to be a pivotal moment in the series, as the stakes continue to rise and the tension intensifies. The Boys, led by the enigmatic Homelander and his crew of nefarious supes, are up against it. They're facing off against Starlight, Billy Butcher, and the rest of the titular Boys, who are determined to bring them down. The release time for Episode 4 is set for Wednesday, April 15th, at midnight Pacific Time, and it's a global release, so everyone can tune in at the same time. The episode will be available on Amazon Prime Video, and the release schedule for the rest of the season is as follows: Episode 4 - April 22, Episode 5 - April 29, Episode 6 - May 6, Episode 7 - May 13, and Episode 8 - May 20. The fourth episode is expected to be around 1 hour and 2 minutes long, similar to the first two and the third. The rest of the season's episodes will also be around one hour long, but the finale's length is yet to be determined. The season so far has been intense and action-packed. In Episode 1, Homelander has solidified his control over Vought and the nation, with a puppet president in place. Butcher is on the run, and MM, Frenchie, and Hughie are detainees in a Vought-run 'Freedom Camp' for Starlighter sympathizers and other political prisoners. In Episode 2, the Boys escape and move onto the testing stage of Butcher's plan to release the supe-killing supervirus. Things get crazy, and two of the influencer supes are infected with the virus and die. Soldier Boy, Homelander's dad, is unfreezed and sent after Butcher, withholding information about the super-virus. In Episode 3, Soldier Boy returns to The Seven, proclaimed a hero whose reputation was smeared by the 'lamestream media' and framed by Starlight. The Boys head to Stan Edgar's bunker for help, and Butcher has a chat with Ryan that doesn't go well. Zoe hitches a ride back to the Boys HQ, where she finds her father and tells him Butcher killed her mother, Victoria Neuman. The two destroy all remaining samples of the supe-virus, and a big fight breaks out, with Black Noir capturing Edgar but being double-crossed by The Deep, who takes him back to Homelander. Ryan confronts Homelander and is nearly killed, and Starlight abandons Hughie because she worries she can't protect him.
